My 999th like on tumblr went to a post with an awesome set of Nina Katchadourian photo portraits stylized to remind of 15th century Dutch portraits. The woman is awesome, her idea is awesome and the post I learned about all this from is awesome, too, although I can’t find the direct link to it, somehow. Tumblr confuses me sometimes. Anyway, I couldn’t resist the temptation to draw from one of those photographs. The end result looks more man-like than the original to me, but that was the intention.
